Here are a few ways to use this resource: • Read only the short ‘oo’ word book cards and place onto the short ‘oo’ word shelf. • For an extra challenge sort all the short ‘oo’ word book cards onto the shelf but mix some other word book cards into the sorting activity. • Sort the different ‘oo’ book cards between the long and short ‘oo’ word shelves.

There are two slightly different styled mats depending on if you would like to concentrate on one common exception word for the day or have a display of words in your classroom.
